Inspiration

For my idea to come across clearly, creating a mood board has definitely helped. I am heavily influenced by watching videos on YouTube channels, Cut and BuzzFeedVideo and took inspiration from them.

Cut is a popular YouTube channel with over 4 million subscribers. The channel creates quirky eye-catching videos on topics society would think twice to discuss. Below are two examples of videos that justifies my statement.

Albeit eye-raising videos, the reason this channel has inspired me is their use of consistency in their videos as well as confidently turning 'uncomfortable topics' (such as one shown above) into imposing and unconventional and relatable. Another is their use of a diverse audience. Diversity is a key reason I take into consideration to include as many manifold opinions as possible, not restricting any content.

BuzzFeedVideo is another well-known YouTube channel, has garnered over 14 million subscribers and has more than 4 more branches to their channel each discussing distinct topics. For example, Boldly focuses on the latest trends, fashion, makeup and other miscellaneous things the feminine sides of everyone can relate to. An element of Buzzfeed that catches my attention is their documentary style, question and answer confrontation type videos that Cut similarly creates.
